WooCommerce exports use different field names and conventions than Shopify. 'Regular price' becomes 'Variant Price', 'Sale price' becomes 'Variant Compare At Price', the permalink slug becomes Handle, and product attributes become Option fields. What WooCommerce field maps to Shopify Handle?

The WooCommerce product slug (permalink) maps to Shopify Handle. Handles must be lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only. The checker flags any slug that would fail Shopify's handle format rules.

WooCommerce has 'Regular price' and 'Sale price'. Which is which in Shopify?

'Regular price' maps to 'Variant Compare At Price' and 'Sale price' maps to 'Variant Price'. If you put the regular price in Variant Price and leave Compare At Price empty, Shopify will not show the sale badge or strikethrough pricing.

Do WooCommerce product IDs carry over to Shopify?

No. Shopify assigns its own internal product IDs on import. WooCommerce IDs are not used. You should use SKU or barcode as your stable product identifier across both platforms.

Can I check a WooCommerce export before converting it?
